jasper In-Frame Shaker & Aurora Slab Paint & Paper Library Truffle
Meticulously designed in-frame cabinetry, warm natural materials and thoughtful detailing combine to create a timeless kitchen tailored entirely to the client’s vision.
This project was centred around a very clear and detailed brief from our clients, who had previously seen a kitchen that they loved in a showroom and wanted to recreate that same sense of proportion, craftsmanship and understated elegance within their own home. Our role was to take that initial inspiration and translate it into a fully bespoke kitchen, carefully designing every element to suit both the space and the clients’ exact preferences.
Working closely with the homeowners, we meticulously refined every detail of the cabinetry to ensure the final result felt perfectly balanced. From the incremental sizing of the flat drawer fronts, to the oversized fluted glass wall cabinets and extended floor frames, each component was thoughtfully considered and proportioned. Even the precise width of the in-frame cabinetry was carefully developed alongside the client, allowing us to create a kitchen that felt beautifully tailored and completely personal to the home.

The cabinetry itself is finished in Paint & Paper Library’s “Truffle”, applied in a smooth painted finish that introduces a soft warmth and depth to the room. This rich tone works effortlessly with the surrounding materials, creating a calm and timeless palette that feels both elegant and welcoming.
For the work surfaces, the clients selected Classic Quartz Valetta, which continues up the wall behind the cooking area to form a striking full-height cladding. A subtle profiled cap detail along the top provides a refined finishing touch, giving the stone elevation a sense of architectural presence while framing the Rangemaster Elise cooker beneath a bespoke boxed mantle.
Hardware throughout the kitchen was carefully chosen to complement the cabinetry, with Armac Martin handles and knobs in the beautiful “Fine English Antique” finish introducing a warm patinated brass tone that pairs effortlessly with the cabinetry colour and natural textures within the space.
Practicality and craftsmanship are equally important to every Ella Austin kitchen, and this project is no exception. As standard, the cabinetry features solid oak dovetail drawer boxes, providing both durability and a level of internal detailing that reflects the quality of the external cabinetry.
A Villeroy & Boch ceramic double butler sink sits within the main run of cabinetry, paired with a Classic Fusion patinated brass boiling water tap from Quooker, combining traditional character with modern convenience.
Beyond the main kitchen space, we also designed and installed a matching walk-in pantry, providing generous additional storage alongside feature wall shelving that allows everyday items to be both accessible and beautifully displayed. Adjacent to this, a compact utility and laundry space was created using the same bespoke cabinetry and finishes, allowing the secondary areas of the home to feel seamlessly connected to the main kitchen design.
The end result is a kitchen that feels both timeless and highly personal - a space where carefully considered proportions, natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship come together to create the exact kitchen the clients had envisioned for their home.

“We had a really positive experience with Ella Austin Kitchens from start to finish. We visited a few other kitchen companies beforehand, but Ella Austin really stood out for their friendly, welcoming approach. From the first meeting, we felt listened to and completely at ease.
A special mention to Lily, our designer, who was fantastic throughout—professional, patient, and full of great ideas. She took the time to understand what we wanted and helped turn it into a kitchen that looks beautiful and works perfectly for our space.
The whole process was smooth and enjoyable, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the end result. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ella Austin Kitchens to anyone considering a new kitchen.”
