Having been recommended by a good friend, we went to view the Ella Austin showroom which is local to us. Max was super helpful and with our budget in mind, came up with some great designs to meet our brief. The service was brilliant and Max also sent lots of ideas for seating and lighting to complement the kitchen! Max and Tommy worked with the builders, electrician and plumber to ensure the design layout was worked out ahead of time, for underfloor heating and wiring etc - all the things I wouldn’t be thinking of 😄 The kitchen is the heart of the home for us, and I love my new kitchen so much, especially the pantry cupboard! The service didn’t end there, and the team have come to fix any minor snags with drawers or cupboards that may need adjusting now we are using it, and will come back should we need anything. For us, the kitchen is the heart of our home, so we spent a long time looking around various showrooms and contacting many different suppliers, before settling on Ella Austin. We absolutely loved working with Steve, as he offered a perfect partnership that suited us. We had some bold ideas, which didn’t seem to faze the team and they have gone the extra mile to make sure that we had exactly what we imagined.
Steve also made several design suggestions based on his experience, which have been so very helpful and we have implemented into our kitchen. We must have changed our design 7 times, if not more, and then the installation team brought it all to life coordinating the fitout logistics with our builders very professionally - nothing was too much trouble for the team at any stage, so now we genuinely have our dream kitchen and have been enjoying for almost a year now. Ella Austin have also made our pantry and utility, we had a smaller budget for those, so with a few changes, such as cabinetry frames and draw materials, they were able to create something as beautiful that fitted our budget.

Another incredible thing about the team is that although our project may have finished almost a year ago, the after care and service are still available to us. So if we ever have any questions or anything needing adjustment, the team are very responsive and helpful. Absolute pleasure to work with Ella Austin from start to finish - not that their service ever really finishes as they have made it clear that they are always on hand if any issues ever arise (which is unlikely given the quality).

Lily designed our kitchen and was always happy to revise and edit the design when we had new ideas o changed our minds - nothing was too much trouble. Once we ordered the kitchen Tommy became our main point of contact and worked closely with our builder (Dan - who they EA recommended and was absolutely fab) so there was almost nothing for us to do. Both Lily and Tommy were friendly and professional throughout and we enjoyed working with them both.

The kitchen itself is beautiful - but also completely practical and makes perfect use of our space; and the little touches Lily suggested finish it off perfectly. There is no denying the kitchen was expensive, but having had cheaper kitchens from high street brands before I am confident in saying that EA is incredibly good value when you look at the full service (design, measuring, aftercare) and kitchen quality (which will last decades).

Max, Tommy, Marcus and the Team were absolutely terrific from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Their knowledge of their products and options in the industry were brilliant, The design of our kitchen is just perfect. They were competitive with the cost of the kitchen and the appliances and so helpful. They maintained regular contact with us regarding when our kitchen would be ready. The kitchen fitting was neat, tidy and exceptional. They were responsive and helpful assistance when we needed extra support regarding snagging, and just generally the very best service. From start to finish our experience with Steve Collinson and the entire team at Ella Austin Kitchens was brilliant. From initial briefing through the design process to installation it was a stress free and even enjoyable process! Steve understood what I was after really quickly, and was always happy to listen to my feedback - we had several iterations of the design, but I never felt that he was just 'doing what the client wanted'; rather he was using his experience to listen to my concerns and respond with really constructive and well thought through proposals. The installation team, led by Tommy, were excellent, and any minor snagging we had afterwards was dealt with promptly and without issue. We have ended up with a kitchen that we are absolutely delighted with. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending.

Our new kitchen journey with Steve Collinson and his team at Ella Austin Kitchens was genuinely brilliant from start to finish. A totally professional service that always aimed to meet our requirements, however often we changed them, and produce the dream kitchen we wanted within our budget. Steve's experience in design and knowledge of materials for islands, cabinets and finishes was second to none along with keeping up with all the latest appliances. After visiting other kitchen companies, we were starting to feel disheartened, that changed when we walked into the Ella Austin showroom. We were greeted with a sense of what we wanted was going to be possible after all.
Lily listened and cleverly turned our ideas into reality. She also came up with ideas we hadn’t considered and designed a kitchen which looks incredible. She took into account our wonky walls and uneven beams and came up with solutions. Nothing was a problem, at least we were never made to feel that way. We were given time to make decisions and never felt pressured, so the whole process felt stress free.
The design was implemented beautifully with total focus to build the kitchen we wanted. Their workmanship and the quality of cabinetry is excellent.
A special shout out to Tommy who visited once the work was done so he could double check the final result and make sure we were 100% happy with the kitchen, which we are.

It was a very good experience from our first visit to the Ella Austin showroom to the final sign off of our beautiful new kitchen. Steve and his team were very professional and friendly. He offered useful tips and guidance during the design process and did his best to accommodate for all our wishes. Communication was excellent during the whole project. All jobs were completed within agreed time schedule and to a very high standard. I would definitively go back to them with another project.

The design process was meticulous in every aspect. Understandably there were changes to the scope which Steve dealt with the utmost professionalism. The process was not sales driven but design driven and Steve kept our objectives firmly in his view and offered suggestions accordingly.

From the initial design discussions to the final checks on the finished product, the entire project was carried out in a professional, timely and respectful manner.

Steve Collinson personally oversaw every stage of the project, and he and our designer Chloe were both available to consult or visit at very short notice as and when needed. The range of craftsmen that Steve employees are all excellent at what they do, and they also consult at every stage to ensure that the customer has exactly what they want. Any unforeseen problems that cropped up – as they inevitably do – were presented to me with a proposed solution, which I found very reassuring.

From our very first email, to the final touching up of paint, Steve and Ella Austin were a dream to work with.

We weren’t too sure on colours/style/details and just sent over a vague brief and bunch of pictures we’d saved off social media. Between those and a questionnaire Steve had us fill out, he came back with a design that perfectly reflected our tastes, incorporated all our favourite details and fit our modest budget. We’d approached multiple companies, but Ella Austin was the only one that took that initiative and delivered exactly what we were after as a result.

Every hiccup along the way was clearly communicated and promptly resolved - something we were extremely thankful for when in the middle of an otherwise stressful home renovation, whilst also being heavily pregnant. The whole building experience was a huge learning curve for us, and I can’t overemphasise the relief we felt knowing that that we were in such competent and capable hands when it came to our new kitchen.

As for the finished product- we’re absolutely thrilled! We’ve had compliments from family and friends around the world and we’re looking forward to many years enjoying our new kitchen with all of them. Thank you again!

We have just had our kitchen completely renovated by Ella Austin. They have done an amazing job, very professional, nothing was too much trouble and always on time. We are so pleased with the beautiful finish, the dove tail joints look so smart. We especially love the coffee station which enables you to have everything in one place and can be hidden away. We would certainly not hesitate in recommending Ella Austin Kitchens.

Ella Austin are thoroughly professional Steve Collinson went out of his way to deliver our dream kitchen. From the start when we received the kitchen video that Ella Austin made for us based on our plans we were sold but this was just the beginning of the process, Steve sourced all the appliances no easy feat during COVID he also took us to the quartz supplier so we could see what the finished worktops would look like, it’s so hard to decide from a small tile.The choices of finish and design for the kitchen cupboards was endless basically we could have whatever we wanted and Steve was transparent about the cost at all stages. Once we had picked the kitchen style and colour Steve got us a sample door of each which was invaluable when choosing flooring etc.
We had to delay the kitchen installation date due to build problems but Steve just reorganised everything, he was available to chat whenever we needed to discuss anything and he visited the site on several occasions, nothing was too much trouble.
The end result is amazing we are so pleased and have received numerous nice comments on the kitchen style and look.
