Working in close collaboration with Katie Watkinson Interiors, we designed, built and installed this stunning open-plan kitchen and utility room for a beautiful North London property. The brief called for a scheme with real depth and character, and our bespoke Jasper in-frame shaker range, finished in a smooth painted Indigo, delivered exactly that: a rich, confident base for a room designed to be lived in every day.
The scheme continues seamlessly into a beautifully appointed utility room, giving the family a dedicated space for laundry and everyday essentials that complements the main kitchen in both finish and function..

Inside, the cabinets are lined in Brown Warmia Walnut, with handmade solid walnut internals throughout. This is where the real detail lives: a dedicated spice bottle drawer, a deep utensil drawer, internal larder drawers and door-mounted spice racks all bring a level of everyday practicality that only comes from bespoke joinery. Every internal fitting was handmade to suit the way this family actually cooks and stores.
Between the kitchen and utility sits a pair of full height larders, tucked just out of the main traffic areas but still within easy reach of the island. It's a small piece of planning that makes a big practical difference: everyday stores and shopping have a proper home, without eating into the working footprint of either room.
Hendel & Hendel Hoxa handles and knobs in satin brass run throughout, warming the Indigo cabinetry beautifully. Worktops in DQ Dior quartz wrap the island and run up into a full height splashback, finished with a floating shelf and rebated LED light strip for soft, ambient lighting along the back wall.
The island is the heart of the room, home to a Bora X Pure vented hob for cooking without the need for separate extraction, and a premium Dunavox Flow wine cooler for effortless entertaining, alongside a Blanco sink finished with Bidbury & Co luxury sink accessories, chosen to perfectly match the brass hardware throughout. A Fisher & Paykel French door fridge freezer sits fully integrated into the run.
It's a kitchen that works just as well hosting a full house as it does on a quiet Tuesday night, with the utility close at hand to keep the everyday mess out of sight. That balance, a properly sociable space that never stops being practical, is exactly what this family set out to achieve.
