Zola Handleless F&B Middleton Pink & Sage
This project involved the complete redesign and refurbishment of an existing kitchen space in Farnham, delivered as a fully managed, turnkey project.
From the outset, we worked closely with the clients not only on the kitchen design itself, but also on the wider refurbishment works, introducing and coordinating the general contractor so that all elements of the project were organised and delivered in-house.
The scope of works included a structural wall knock-through to improve flow and natural light, along with all associated plastering, plumbing, electrics and new flooring, before the installation of the bespoke kitchen. Managing the project holistically allowed the layout, services and cabinetry to be designed cohesively from day one, ensuring the finished space feels balanced, practical and well resolved.
The kitchen design centres around our handleless Zola Matte slab cabinetry, using two complementary colours to subtly define different zones within the space. The main cooking and tall-unit run is finished in a soft Sage green, while the sink run and peninsula island are finished in a colour-matched Middleton Pink (Farrow & Ball No.245). The gentle contrast between the two tones adds a cool, fresh aesthetic and character while keeping the overall look calm and contemporary. Silver anodised handleless Gola rails maintain clean, uninterrupted lines throughout.

A sculpted peninsula island sits at the heart of the kitchen, providing generous preparation space as well as casual seating, helping the room function as both a working kitchen and a social hub. Internally, the cabinetry features solid oak dovetail drawer boxes and corner storage solutions, offering beautifully crafted, highly functional storage concealed behind a minimalist exterior.
The sink area is positioned beneath the window to maximise natural light and views into the garden, paired with a 1.75 bowl undermounted composite sink and a Quooker Flex tap with Pro3 tank. Worktops are finished in 20mm Classic Quartz Olympia, used consistently across the perimeter, island, upstands and window cills for a seamless and cohesive finish.
Appliances are integrated cleanly into the design, including a stacked oven housing, induction hob, integrated dishwasher and a freestanding fridge freezer carefully framed with bespoke tall cabinetry.
The kitchen sits effortlessly within the wider open-plan layout, with new herringbone timber flooring running seamlessly through the space and across the subtle level change beyond the kitchen, reinforcing the improved flow created by the structural alterations.
By managing both the refurbishment works and the bespoke kitchen installation in-house, we were able to deliver a refined, thoughtfully designed space where every detail has been considered, from the initial layout and structural changes through to the final drawer internals, lighting and finishing touches. The result is a calm, practical kitchen that works seamlessly within the wider home and reflects exactly how the clients wanted to live in the space.
